DatingSiteSpot has reviewed and ranked online dating products since 2014 — over a decade of hands-on testing. Our audience is people deciding whether to spend money on a subscription dating service, and we write for that decision specifically.
What we do
We test products end-to-end, score them against a public five-axis rubric, and publish reviews and category rankings that we re-test on a fixed cadence. Every page that recommends a product carries our affiliate disclosure and links to our methodology.
We do not write trend pieces. We do not chase platform PR cycles. We do not publish "top 10" lists assembled from press releases.
How we test
Every site is scored on the same five axes — audience fit, pricing, free-tier usability, messaging quality, and safety — detailed in our methodology and how-we-test write-ups. We create and pay for our own accounts: no press kits, no stock screenshots, no AI mockups.
Editorial independence
DatingSiteSpot earns commissions on some referrals. Those commissions never determine the order of products on a category page or the score of a product on its review page. We document this in detail on our disclosure page and we link to it from every review.
When two products in the same category produce materially different commission rates, we publish both rates so a reader can decide for themselves whether our ranking reflects audience fit or commercial fit. We believe the answer should be obvious, but we'd rather show our work than ask for trust.
Our editorial standards
Our standards are public, not a promise. Read our ranking methodology, testing process, editorial policy, and affiliate disclosure.

If you operate a dating product and would like to submit a press contact for our review queue, we will respond, but we do not accept paid placement in category rankings under any circumstances.
